The Company was incorporated on 22 October 2021 by its director and operated under the name Emerald Electrical. The Company traded from premises located at 12 Hawson Avenue, North Plympton, South Australia and was a provider of commercial electrical services. As at the date of my appointment, the Company employed 14 staff members, including the Director.
The Company grew relatively quickly but operated with small margins and was unable to find a way to trade profitably. The Company was also the victim of fraud which, with its weak financial performance, the Company was unable to absorb.
